Miniature embroidery is a delightful test of precision. Our miniature hand-stitched floral pendants are some of our most beloved creations, packing a garden of rich details into a canvas no larger than a coin. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at how we design and stitch our best-selling jewelry pendants.
Stitching details at this scale requires fine single-strand or double-strand floss threads. We start by sketching miniature patterns directly onto fine linen using water-soluble pens. The designs feature classic French knots for flower buds, lazy daisies for petals, and fine stem stitches for delicate green leaves.
Once the embroidery is complete, we carefully mount the fabric around a heavy card insert, tensioning it from behind before sealing it into our custom vintage brass or gold-plated alloy bezels. The result is a premium, wearable art piece that carries a touch of handcrafted magic wherever you go.
