Discover embroidery on paper We begin by introducing you to the unique medium of photo embroidery on paper, the materials we use, and how embroidery can be used to transform an ordinary photograph into an artwork. 2. Learn the essential techniques Through guided exercises, you will learn 5 essential embroidery stitches, along with the techniques required to work neatly and confidently on paper. 3. Design & trace your pattern Learn how to select the right areas of a photograph, create your embroidery design, and trace the pattern onto paper while retaining the important details of your photograph. 4. Enhance your photographs with embroidery Learn how to thoughtfully add embroidery to a photograph — from choosing which details to highlight to selecting colours and stitches that complement the image. 5. Create your own photo embroidery You will work on your own personal photographs during the workshop and create a custom photo embroidery piece with our step-by-step guidance. 6. Tips & tricks to refine your craft We’ll also share our exclusive tips and tricks for cleaner embroidery, better detailing, choosing threads, handling paper, and giving your finished piece a polished look. ⸻ What’s included in your workshop kit: A complete Photo Embroidery Kit will be delivered to you before the workshop. Your kit includes: 1. Two personal photographs You can upload your photographs while registering for the workshop. We will print and send the hard copies to you so that you can work on them during the workshop. 2. Tracing & trial sheets For practising your designs and embroidery techniques before working on your final photograph. 3. Ten shades of embroidery threads A curated selection of threads to help you create your embroidered photograph. 4. Three embroidery needles Everything you need to get started with your embroidery. 5. Wooden frame A wooden frame to display your finished photo embroidery piece. 6. Step-by-step YouTube tutorial You will also receive access to an exclusive step-by-step tutorial created specifically for workshop participants, which you can refer to even after the workshop. ⸻ Who can join? This workshop is perfect for beginners and embroidery enthusiasts alike. No prior embroidery experience is required. Whether you’re completely new to embroidery or already enjoy the craft, we’ll guide you through every step. ⸻ A few important things to know: Workshop Recording: A recording of the workshop will be provided to participants. The recording will remain accessible for 30 days, as per Zoom’s recording availability. Cancellation Policy: There are no cancellations once your seat has been booked. If you are unable to attend your selected batch, you may transfer your booking to the next available batch.
